100 Years Old with Baby Teeth

by Erin MacLellan
Children's Book Reviewer

Children waiting for baby teeth to fall out will love 100 Years Old with Baby Teeth written by Greensboro resident Deanna Thompson and illustrated by Claudia Wolf (Journey Stone Creations, $2.99). First-grader Caroline is the only one in her class who hasn't lost a baby tooth and fears that she never will. In this funny book, Caroline seeks the advice of friends and family as to how she can lose a tooth. Thompson does a great job depicting Caroline's wild imagination and range of emotions, from worry to joy, making it an appealing story for young readers and their parents. Her daughter, Eliza, inspired the story.
